Since the first cases of COVID-19 were detected in France, medical personnel have been fully mobilized, treating patients and helping contain the spread of the virus.
To thank these people who are performing extraordinary feats on a daily basis, Jean-Luc, the owner of a Lagoon 380, Piper, based in Nice in the South of France, has launched a solidarity initiative. He is inviting medical personnel to come and sail with him, when the regulatory lockdown period is over and boating is once again authorized.
What’s the aim? To offer a moment of freedom, rest and escape to these everyday heroes, who for months have put their lives on hold to be at the bedside of those affected by the virus.
Faced with the enthusiasm generated by this project among medical staff, Jean-Luc created “Les bateaux du Cœur” (Boats of the Heart, in English) in order to rally other skippers to this cause.
Lagoon is supporting Jean-Luc and his great initiative by offering you the opportunity to join the fleet of the Boats of the Heart!

Among the 200 boats that have already signed up to welcome care-givers, there are only four catamarans (including two Lagoons)! The objective is to gather 500 boats, so we hope you too will join the movement!
Look after yourselves!
