"Escapade Lagoon" in Croatia

The 8th edition of the "Escapade Lagoon", organised by Nautika centar Nava (the Lagoon distributor in Croatia) took place from April 27 to April 30, 2019. This year, 150 participants from all over the world, with more than 10 nationalities represented, gathered for this Croatia adventure.

It all started on the 27th of April in the Nava marina in Split, where 15 Lagoon catamarans sailed to Palmizana. The next day, the participants sailed farther south to the island of Korcula, for the first time during an "Escapade". It was a real success and a pleasant surprise for all participants. On their arrival, welcoming cocktails were served, followed by a Moreska show: a traditional XVIIth century dance, with swords. After this voyage into the past and the heart of tradition, the guests all participated in a spring culinary festival that was a delight for their palates, with local, authentic and creative cuisine. The evening finished with a special "Escapade Lagoon" cocktail.

The two last navigation sessions led the owners to Trpanj on the Peljesac peninsula for a seafood evening with oysters, sushis, tuna steaks and other seafood delights from the Adriatic sea. The evening ended with fireworks, as well as an official prize-giving ceremony, followed by a DJ and saxophone set.

The "Escapade" was a success, according to the participants, which included the owner of Moby Dick, a 450 S: "Thank you very much for this really fantastic experience! The navigation was great; the food and wine were incredible. The evenings were epic, but above all, it was your warm welcome and hospitality that made the event magical!"

Nautika centar Nava has already begun the preparation for next year, and they are expecting an even bigger event with even more catamarans and participants, who will discover and appreciate the beauty of sailing navigation in Croatia!
