The start of ARC, world’s biggest transatlantic rally, has been given on Sunday, November 20 at 12:30 a.m. from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria marina in a carnival atmosphere. 212 boats from 31 countries were on the starting line of this oceanic regatta connecting Las Palmas to Saint-Lucia.
Among the 29 multihulls in contention for the Multihulls division, 14 are Lagoons. Weather conditions were ideal on this first day with a glorious sunshine and a constant north easterly breeze of 10 to 12 knots.
From now on, you will be able to follow on our Facebook page Lagoon Attitude the journey of the crew from the 42 Merci Papa, named after Patrice Devanneaux, recently lost at sea. Composed of a part of the Lagoon team and the Devanneaux family (including Charles-Etienne who works as the Lagoon distributor in California, Naos Yachts), the boat’s crew dedicates this crossing to his memory.
The Lagoon teams are proud to announce their triumph at the China Yacht Awards (OCYA) winning 3 awards in total.
