The propulsion of this hybrid catamaran is composed by two electric motors each connected by straight shaft transmissions to a propeller, the generator and a set of twelve batteries. When the batteries are 100% charged, the boat can work on its motors with the batteries during about two hours (according to the speed). When the batteries are 80% charged, the generator starts automatically to charge the batteries and feed the motors. The development of the hybrid catamaran has been centred on a family and ecological use, while providing Lagoon with a seductive and original aesthetics.
